The book is bound with an off-boards structure. The spine is Pentland leather, hand tooled with the title in gold. The boards incorporate multiple leather onlays over airbrushed paper background to represent a stylised willow tree. The foreground is bound in Tudor-style leather style to suggest the river. Hand-sewn silk endbands. The doublures are full edge-to-edge leather, decorated with inlaid black leather lines to mirror the cover design. Presented in a bespoke wooden box, lined with suede and with a leather panel to the lid incorporating the title.
