I am Glenn Malkin and I have been a professional bookbinder since 2008. Based on the coast of East Yorkshire I work for customers across the UK and overseas. Much of my work is for private individuals and collectors but I also undertake some bespoke work for businesses and organisations. I have won numerous awards for my bindings and I was elected a Fellow of Designer Bookbinders in 2022

Please note that I no longer offer routine repair or re-binding of books as I focus increasingly on the creative aspects of the craft including design bindings and more unique or unusual projects that I get asked to do. (See the ‘Bookbinding and Repairs‘ tab for recommendations of alternative binders who do this type of work.) I also offer individual tuition to intermediate level binders and deliver workshops to groups and bookbinding organisations.
