One-Day Workshop

A Travel Journal

Tuesday 21st April 2020
Hull ScrapStore
10:00am - 4:30pm approx
£45 per person

This one-day workshop is ideal for the beginner to bookbinding as well as those with some experience.

We will be making an adhesive bound book with rounded spine and semi flexible cloth covered cover. We will incorporate an elasticated closure and, time permitting, a pocket at the rear of the book to accommodate tickets and other ephemera useful in a travel journal.

There are a maximum of ten places available so booking is essential. A non-refundable deposit is required when booking, the rest being payable on the day.
All the materials and tools required will be provided, as will tea/coffee and biscuits. You will need to bring your own lunch, though there are shops a short walk away.

Hull ScrapStore is just off Hessle Road, not far from Asda. The address is Dairycoates Avenue, Hull HU3 5DB.
Heading along Hessle Road from Hull centre, turn right at the traffic lights into St Georges Road just before you reach Asda.
After a hundred yards or so, turn left just after the zebra crossing, into Woodcock Street.
ScrapStore is in the old school building on the left hand side with the main entrance round the corner on Dairycoates Avenue.
Free parking is available on the road or in the car park at the rear of the building.
